Parenting is not easy, and dealing with teenagers can make it even more challenging. You want the best for your family and nurture their well-being. However, you might be feeling overwhelmed and question whether you're doing the right thing. Perhaps you’re wondering how to give your children the best when you're struggling with your own emotions.

Maybe you’re questioning if you’re raising happy and healthy kids or doubting your parenting choices at times. The truth is, it is normal to encounter challenges and difficulties along the way. Parenting is a journey, and it's okay to seek help.

I'm here to offer my support, so you can become the best parent you can be.

You'll feel more confident in your parenting approach as you incorporate new parenting strategies into your toolkit, and you're better prepared to support your children's emotional well-being while also strengthening your relationship with them.

During our 1-on-1 sessions, we can address parenting strategies or emotional wellness to ensure you're on the right track.

If the focus of our session is on parenting strategies, you will receive practical advice, learn what you can do to recognize and address your children's difficulties, and feel confident in your parenting methods. Although we can discuss challenges with smaller kids, my focus is on pre-teens and teens.

If the focus of our session is on emotional wellness, we will work on identifying and addressing challenges caused by the inner critical voice that may undermine your efforts. We'll explore negative thinking traps and beliefs driven by your inner critic. We come up with ideas to help you recognize mental obstacles, negative thinking patterns, and whether your inner critic is influencing your beliefs and controlling your actions. I offer practical solutions for changing these attitudes, ideas, or ways of thinking.

By tackling your emotional wellness and embracing practical strategies, you can work toward adopting a healthier lifestyle and have the confidence to be the best version of yourself for your family. The goal is to help you feel empowered and confident to meet the challenges of parenting with resilience and joy.

Mindful Parenting Sessions:

In the parenting sessions we can discuss:

  1. Raising confident and well-rounded children.

  2. Developing a healthy relationship with your children.

  3. Navigating parenting during the tween/teen years.

  4. Approaching challenging issues with your tween/teen (sex, drug, alcohol, toxic influences, etc.).

  5. Intentional discipline practices for children and teenagers: managing emotional rollercoasters

Keep in mind that multiple sessions may be necessary to experience optimal results and/or cover any topics mentioned above.

Parenting Session Objectives

My sessions are tailored to your specific needs and goals as a parent. I will provide guidance, practical strategies, and personal and professional experiences to help you strengthen your parenting skills and your relationship with your children, especially with pre-teens and teens.

We will focus on helping you assess your parenting style and get a whole new perspective on how to raise your children based on their needs while maintaining a relationship built on trust, connectedness, curiosity, and healthy discipline.

To assist you in taking action, I will provide reflective questions, exercises, action plans, and challenges designed to help you implement new parenting strategies and make necessary changes in your parenting approach. By working together, our goal is to help you feel confident and equipped to navigate the challenges of parenting and create a healthy, happy, and thriving family dynamic.

Emotional Wellness Sessions:

In the emotional wellness sessions, we can:

  1. Identify mindset blocks that are preventing you from experiencing a better quality of life and succeeding.

  2. Learn strategies to stop self-sabotage and find joy.

  3. Learn to recognize negative thoughts and how to outsmart them.

  4. Improve self-trust and self-confidence.

  5. Learn strategies to partner with your inner critic to achieve inner harmony and confidence.

Keep in mind that multiple sessions may be necessary to experience optimal results and/or cover all topics mentioned above.

Emotional Wellness Session Objectives

Self-reflection and self-awareness are important tools for personal growth and developing a healthy mindset. During our sessions, we will explore your inner world and identify any beliefs or thoughts that are affecting your daily life and holding you back.

We will focus on helping you be the mom your children need, rather than feeling pressured to conform to the expectations of others. This may involve exploring and challenging any limiting beliefs or negative thought patterns that are holding you back, and developing new habits and techniques to promote positive change in your parenting style.

I will also teach you effective techniques for building and maintaining self-confidence, such as overcoming insecurities, challenging your comfort zone, and replacing unhealthy thought patterns with positive and empowering ones.

Through a series of exercises and self-awareness questions, you'll learn coping strategies to overcome self-sabotaging thoughts and negative thought patterns, such as fears, insecurities, and limiting beliefs. This will help you to rewire your brain and replace toxic beliefs with healthy and empowering ones.

What these sessions are NOT:

  • Therapy sessions.

  • Diagnosis of mental health illness or disorder.

  • Treatment for mental health conditions that have been diagnosed or undiagnosed.

It is the client's responsibility to seek out mental health treatment if a formal diagnosis is suspected or if continuing psychological treatment is needed. We do not accept insurance for our services. Clients need to understand their financial responsibilities before engaging in sessions with us.

How Much Does It Cost?

$200 per 90-minute individual session

Three Easy Steps to Schedule a Session

1. Complete the form below to request a session.

2. You will receive an invoice via PayPal to pay for the session.

3. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of receiving your payment. Payments received over the weekend will be confirmed via email the following business day. The email contains a scheduling link and the Parent or Wellness Session Questionnaire, which must be completed 48 hours before the session. Please keep this in mind as you schedule your session.
